MUSCAT: Oman is planning to open a drive-through COVID-19 vaccination centre in Muscat, sources informed The Arabian Stories.
The new setup is part of the mass vaccination campaign that started in June. According to a source, the drive-through vaccination centre will be opened at the Oman Automobile Association (OAA). “Work is underway to complete the technical aspects related to the vaccination service. We are working closely with the Ministry of Health in this regard,” an official at OAA said on Thursday.
According to the official, it takes a maximum of 20 minutes to complete the entire vaccination process, without the vaccine candidates having to exit their cars.
