MUSCAT: Ministry of Labour has confirmed that it is proceeding with its inspection plans to monitor labour law violations in the country.
The statement from the Ministry comes after a video was circulated on social networking sites that showed officers inspecting several private sector firms that employed expat workers without proper documents. However, the Ministry clarified that the video clips “that are circulating are old.”
The ministry said it “ensures that every organisation follows the regulation and labour law to keep the labour market safe.”
