MUSCAT: More than 300 patients are admitted in intensive care units (ICU) in various hospitals, as the number of coronavirus cases in Oman has increased significantly in the last three days.
According to a data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, June 8, a total of 983 patients have been admitted in various hospitals of which 303 are currently in ICU. 129 patients are admitted in hospitals in the last 24 hours, the data shows.
Oman on Tuesday registered 1,553 new infections in the last 24 hours, while 10 people died. The total COVID-19 cases touched 226,648 while total death cases touched 2,434.
