MUSCAT: Oman residents have just endured another one of the hottest days of the summer, with temperatures in some parts hovering near 50 degrees Celsius on Monday.
With 49.5 degrees Celsius, Al Sunainah station in Al Buraimi Governorate recorded the highest temperature in the country.
“Al Sunainah station recorded 49.5 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the weather stations on Sunday. Dhalkut station in Dhofar Governorate recorded 22.8 degrees as the lowest temperature,” Oman Met said in a statement.
