Supreme Committee chairman visits Oman’s largest COVID-19 vaccination centre

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health will begin phase one of the mass vaccination drive.

MUSCAT: His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Chairman of Oman’s Supreme Committee visited the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar to see the progress of the COVID-19 vaccination process.

Al Busaidi was accompanied by members of the Supreme Committee. On Sunday, the Ministry of Health will begin phase one of the mass vaccination drive, covering the new target groups.

According to MOH, the new target groups include all citizens of Musandam Governorate, people above 45 years of age, health workers (including private hospitals and clinics), all government employees, Royal Oman Police, Sultan Armed Forces, high diploma students and their supervisors, employees in oil and gas and airports.
