MUSCAT: The Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI) has clarified regarding the implementation of “operational initiatives” related to the Job Security Fund (JSF), including the monthly cut-off assistance.
In a statement issued PASI said the monthly assistance from JSF, to the tune of OMR 202.5 will be distributed for a period of six months, in favour of self-employed Omanis insured at PASI whose businesses were negatively impacted by the economic situation and those of similar standing. A similar cut-off monthly assistance of OMR 202.5 for a period of six months, from the JSF in favour of laid-off Omani workers whose services were terminated in GCC states.
“The submission of the applications will begin today until December 31, 2021, while the disbursement date is the end of each month,” PASI added.
