MUSCAT: Indian Social Club (ISC) has made arrangements to provide COVID-19 vaccination for its community as part of an agreement with the Ministry of Health.
Speaking to The Arabian Stories, Dr. Sathish Nambiar, Chairman of ISC said the club has reserved 1,300 doses of Pfizer vaccine for 650 people which will be delivered in June. Indian nationals residing in Oman can sign up for the vaccine by registering at the ISC office in Muscat. “The priority now is to vaccinate Indian nationals who are members of ISC.The Ministry of Health has allotted 1,300 doses of Pfizer vaccine for 650 people,” Nambiar said.
According to Nambiar, the club is also receiving request from non-members too. “We have requested the MOH for more doses so that we can vaccinate the non-members soon after the first phase,” he noted.

The cost of Pfizer vaccine is OMR 20 per dose and an administrative fee of OMR 3. “To register, the community members has to come directly to ISC office. The total cost of the vaccine is OMR 46. We have tied up with a clinic in Seeb and they will be administering the vaccine,” Nambiar added.
