MUSCAT: The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates – Madayn, represented by Madayn Industrial Academy, conducted a virtual workshop on ‘Effective Communication Skills’, which was moderated by Wafa Al Alyani, Lecturer at University of Buraimi. The workshop highlighted the definition and concept of communication, significance and modern means of communication, implementation and practice of effective communication skills, and practical solutions to communication challenges.

Al Alyani pointed out that the workshop aims at enriching and developing the knowledge and skills of the participants to perform communication processes efficiently. It is worthwhile mentioning that more than 50 employees of Madayn, as well as employees of the companies based in the various industrial cities, took part in this workshop. Madayn Industrial Academy was established to offer training opportunities for the national cadres to enhance administrative, financial and technical skills and raise their productivity to contribute to providing value adding services to the investors in the industrial cities. The academy organises a series of programmes that address trending topics and challenges that are observed locally and globally, and thus provides scientific and practical training opportunities to the cadres in order to meet the needs of the industrial sector.
