MUSCAT: The Sultanate will spare no effort in supporting the initiatives that will achieve peace, security and stability in the Middle East and the world, stemming from its firm belief that dialogue and negotiation are the most convenient means of resolving differences.
This was stated by Oman during the emergency session of the United Nations General Assembly in light of the Israel-Palestine ceasefire agreement.
“The path towards peace does not come through killing and destruction, but through dialogue, negotiations and reaching understandings that preserve the supreme interests of each party,” the Sultanate said in New York.
