MUSCAT: Expats make up less than 40 per cent of Oman’s population, according to the statistics published by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) on Sunday.
According to NCSI, the total population of Oman now stands at 4,507,468 of whom 2,757,983 are Omanis and 1,749,485 are expatriates.
61.20 per cent of the total population are Omanis and 38.80 per cent are expats.
