COVID-19: Indian community in Oman sends 30 oxygen concentrators and 100 oxygen cylinders to India

Indian community in Oman made the generous contribution in the wake of rising coronavirus cases in India.

MUSCAT: Indian community in Oman has made a generous contribution by sending 30 oxygen concentrators and 100 oxygen cylinders to India.

In a statement issued by the Indian Embassy in Oman said: “We are grateful to the Indian community in Oman for supporting India’s efforts to address the #COVID19 situation through generous contribution of 30 Oxygen Concentrators & 100 Oxygen Cylinders,” embassy said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Oman on Wednesday delivered a consignment of medical supplies, including 36 ventilators, to India which has been reeling under a severe wave of coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement issued, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi thanked His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and the government of Oman. “A strategic partnership rooted in millennia-old friendship. Grateful to H.M. Sultan Haitham bin Tarik & govt of Oman for shipment of 36 ventilators, vital medicines & other medical equipment,” he said.
