MUSCAT: Private sector companies must register the employment contract of both Omani and expat workers via online, Ministry of Labour said on Sunday.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said employers must register within three months through the registration service in the website to avoid any actions. “The Ministry of Labour announces the necessity for employers to register employment contracts electronically for all their workers (Omanis and expats) whether commercial work permits or private work permits through the employment contract registration service on the ministry’s website within a maximum period of three months from its date. In order to avoid any actions that may be taken regarding it,” Ministry said in the statement.
