MUSCAT: Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah held a meeting to discuss the rising number of COVID-19 cases and surge in number of hospitalized patients.
On Thursday, the total number of cases admitted in hospital has crossed over 300, while 88 patients are currently admitted in ICU across various hospitals in the country.
The meeting in SQH was chaired by Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Mashikhi, Director General of the General Directorate of Health Services for the Governorate of Dhofar, in the presence of the hospital’s board of directors.

Oman’s total COVID-19 cases touched 149,135 on Thursday including 1620 deaths.
