MUSCAT: In line with its commitment to promoting sports and community activities, Bank Muscat extended strong support to the prestigious Sayyid Abbas Golf tournament, which was recently held at the Ghala Golf Club. The tournament, which is now held annually in memory of the club’s former chairman, the late His Highness Sayyid Abbas Bin Faisal saw the participation of some of the top golfers in the country. As many as 115 players took part in the tournament across different categories in the championship, which was first started in 1979. Abdulnasir Al Raisi, Deputy General Manager – Premier Banking, Bank Muscat, gave away prizes to the winners in different categories. Bank Muscat has been a strong supporter of the tournament for many years now and this partnership follows its strategy of encouraging sports and commitment to building the capabilities of Omani youth across a wide spectrum of activities.
