India sends 100,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses to Oman

MUSCAT: India has rolled out 100,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Oman under its “Vaccine Maitri” initiative on Saturday.

In a statement issued, Ministry of External Affairs official Anurag Srivastava said the vaccines have been airlifted to Oman. “Consignments of Indian made Covid vaccines airlifted for Oman,” he said. Speaking to The Arabian Stories, a top Indian Embassy official said 100,000 doses have been dispatched to Oman.

Earlier, India has sent its supplies to other GCC countries including UAE and Bahrain.
