MUSCAT: In line with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in promoting a strong savings culture in Oman, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has announced that 4,350 prizes worth OMR 3.3 million has been reserved for winners from all the governorates of the country. The 2021 edition of Bank Muscat’s landmark Al Mazyona savings scheme was recently launched by the bank and will see the country’s biggest savings scheme provide a large number of prizes to its customers across the country with a total of OMR 11 million.

Saleh Mohammed Ali Al Maaini, Assistant General Manager – Capital Regions, Bank Muscat, said: “Al Mazyona gives the largest segment of its customers an opportunity to win prizes and achieve their dreams and aspirations with regular draws for all governorates. With the largest network in Oman with over 140 branches, the bank provides various services and facilities to customers in all parts of the country. By allocating these financial prizes to customers across different governorates, the bank aims to appreciate and reward the good savings habit of its customers. We invite all our customers to increase their savings and get more chances to win with the Al Mazyona savings scheme.” 

The monthly draws for different governorates in 2021 will see 420 winners win OMR 500 each every month while a monthly mega draw will reward one lucky winner with OMR 50,000. Seventy prizes of OMR 5,000 each will be given away to winners from different governorates during the special Mid-Year draw. Similarly, 70 prizes of OMR 5,000 each will be given away to winners from all governorates during the End of Year draw. Customers need to maintain a minimum balance of OMR 100 to be entered into the monthly draws. Those who maintain a minimum balance of OMR 1,000 will be automatically entered into the monthly mega draw as well as the special Mid-year draw and the End of Year draw. 

With innovative customer segmentation based on geographic, lifestyle and demographic segmentation ensuring more chances of winning for all customers across the Sultanate, Al Mazyona is the longest-running savings scheme, offering the largest total prize money in the country. The scheme will offer OMR 11 million to 7,470 winners throughout 2021, with the number of winners up by 12 percent compared to last year. It will feature several special draws including an Eid Al Fitr draw, a National Day draw, Mid-year draw and an End of Year draw. Special prizes have been reserved for high savings customers as well as for women, youth and children.
