MUSCAT: An expat resident has been sentenced to three months in prison and faces deportation from the country after he violated the Supreme Committee decisions, the Public Prosecution said on Thursday.

In a statement issued, PP said the expat worker violated the decision by not wearing the mask. “The verdict was issued by a court in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and the expat resident will be deported from the country after he completes his prison term,” the statement added.
