MUSCAT: More than 75,000 people have so far registered with the National Subsidy System (NSS) for electricity and water.
According to details 77,395 citizens have registered for the subsidy as of Monday. This comes after the government issued a decision to lift the subsidies on utility in a phased manner starting from January 1, 2021. However, those who have registered under NSS will continue to receive the subsidy.
