MUSCAT: National Detergent Company has been exposed to a cyber attack on the company’s server which has resulted in loss of data.
In a statement issued to Muscat Securities Market, the company also confirmed that there are no financial impact on the company.
“National Detergent company wants to inform you of its exposure to a cyber attack on the company’s information technology network that caused loss of some data. It also informs you that there is no financial impact on the company as it keeps the data manually.”

The company is likely to postpone its audited financial accounts for the year 2020 due to the cyber attack. “The company is taking all measures to complete the audited financial accounts for the year 2020 in a timely manner,” the statement added.
