MUSCAT : Over 20,000 people in Oman have been vaccinated for coronavirus in 18 days, Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
In a statement issued, MOH said of the total 20,649 vaccines distributed, Muscat Governorate topped the highest with 8164 people taking the vaccination, followed by North Al Batinah with 3038 people getting the COVID-19 vaccination.
Oman launched the vaccination campaign on December 27. The second batch of 11,000 doses of vaccines have arrived in the country early this week.
