MUSCAT : More than 18,000 people in Oman have been vaccinated for coronavirus in 17 days, Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.
In a statement issued, MOH said of the total 18,287 vaccines distributed, Muscat Governorate topped the highest with 7090 people taking the vaccination, followed by North Al Batinah with 2858 people getting the COVID-19 vaccination.
Oman launched the vaccination campaign on December 27. The second batch of 11,000 doses of vaccines have arrived in the country early this week.
