MUSCAT: In the wake single-use plastic bags ban in the country, the Environment Authority (EA) have distributed more than 10,000 eco-friendly and multi-use bags to citizens and residents.
“The campaign began with the distribution of more than 4,000 bags in the various governorates of the Sultanate, as the authority had previously distributed a set of bags to the departments of the authority in the governorates in preparation for their distribution within the initiative that it launched,” the statement from EA said.
