MUSCAT: An Indian university will launch an Arabic anthology on the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, featuring various aspects of the legendary ruler.
The book which has compilation of newspaper and magazine reports, extracts from books have been written by two Arabic linguists of Calicut University in Kerala. The book will be launched on Friday.
KV Mohammed Riyas, Arabic teacher at Calicut University along with KK Zainul Abid, an Arabic lecturer at the Meenchanda Government Arts College prepared the book. “The book focuses on the legacy of Sultan Qaboos and the efforts he took to modernise the country,” Riyas said.

Dr P Mohammed Ali will receive the first copy of the book from KT Jaleel, Minister for Higher Education, Welfare of Minorities, Waqf and Hajj of Kerala on Friday.
