MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Tuesday issued a Royal Decree granting a Class 1 licence to Oman Future Telecommunications Company (Vodafone) to provide fixed and mobile services.
It is worth noting that Oman Telecommunications Company and British telecom giant Vodafone had signed an agreement in 2019. Vodafone is the third mobile operator in the country. The company is expected to start operations in the country soon.
