MUSCAT : Al Hind Travel and Tours has appointed Reena Abdulrahman as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) for GCC and Africa region, the company said on Sunday.
Reena has over 21 years of experience working with top airlines in the region. She worked previously with Oman’s SalamAir as Manager of Operations at Control Centre. “Reena comes with a lot of experience and her presence will add value to Al Hind Group as we are planning to expand our operations in Oman and Africa region in particular,” the company said in a statement.
Reena previously worked with Qatar Airways for eight years before joining Air Arabia where she worked for nearly 8 years.

Al Hind Group has over 120 branches in India and GCC and 15,000 sub-agents worldwide that serves as a “coordinating point” for all travel requirements of individual passengers and corporate clients. Al Hind opened its corporate office in Muscat last week.
“It’s an honour to join an esteemed company like Al Hind. We are seeing a great potential in Oman’s tourism sector and this is the right time to expand our operations here in the Sultanate. As part of that we will be opening more branches in the coming month. We are also looking to operate in Africa region,” Reena added.
