Coming to Oman? Here’s the updated travel guidelines issued by Supreme Committee

MUSCAT : As Oman prepares to open its borders on December 29, the Supreme Committee has issued new guidelines for passengers travelling to the Sultanate.

Following are the guidelines issued:

  1. Obtaining a PCR test result (not more than 72 hours) before flying to Oman from all countries. This is mandatory.
  2. Imposing quarantine again for those arriving on short visits to the Sultanate for less than seven days.
  3. These procedures shall be applied to all arrivals at the Sultanate’s border outlets.
  4. Register in ( Tarassud + ) App prior to arrival in the Sultanate.
  5. It is mandatory to obtain health insurance that covers costs of Covid 19 treatment for Omanis , GCC citizens. Those who have free health cards are exempted.
  6. Conduct PCR test upon arrival at the Sultanate’s Airports.
  7. Wear the tracking hand bracelet at all border outlets, along with commitment to a 7 day quarantine.
  8. The tracking bracelet is removed after the quarantine period, provided that no Covid -19 symptoms appear that period, upon repetition of the PCR test on the eighth day.
