MUSCAT :The government is planning to facilitate laws and legislations to make Oman an investment friendly destination, according to the Minister of Economy.
His Excellency Dr. Said Al Saqri said the government is working on reforms to attract foreign investment. “We are facilitating laws and legislations and looking into making the Sultanate an attractive destination for foreign investments. This is part of the midterm fiscal plan,” he said.
Al Saqri also said amid the coronavirus pandemic, the economy is expected to contract very sharply. “Maintaining the stability of the national economy is one of the most prominent challenges, and there is an expectation of a 4% contraction in the national economy,” he added.
