MUSCAT: The coronavirus (COVID-19) cases are steadily reducing in the country but His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health has urged the public to continue adhering to the Covid-19 precautionary measures as the virus is “still out there.”
Al Saidi also lambasted some government officials who reportedly did not wear face masks during their inspection visits recently. “ We hope that everyone cooperates with us relieve the pressure on the health sector and other supporting sectors,” Al Saidi said.
“It is unpleasant to see that some officials did not wear masks or adhere to the preventive measures during their inspection visits. We have asked the Minister of Information not give any media coverage to such activities that does not adhere to preventive measures,” Al Saidi said.

“The supreme Committee made the decision of “100% resuming work in work places”. We, however stress the people not to abandoned the adherence to the preventive measures,” he added.
