MUSCAT: Over 215 babies are born each day in Oman, according to the data provided by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI)
As per the record, by the end of October 2020, the total number of births registered touched 66,932 with an average of 9 births per hour.
The data also revealed the death of 8,708 newborns until the end of October 2020, “which is about one child dying every hour and 28 children per day,” the data added.
