MUSCAT : Scammers are on the prowl again as Oman Post has urged its customers never to share bank information via email.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Oman Post said some of its customers have received fraudulent emails claiming to be from Oman Post “and soliciting payments for package delivery.”
“We would like to inform our customers that our official and only email domain is (@omanpost.om). If you receive an e-mail that you are unsure of its legitimacy, please do not respond or share your personal information, usernames, passwords, or credit card information via email. For any enquiries, please call +968 24170444,” the statement added.
