MUSCAT: A court in South Al Batinah Governorate has jailed an Omani citizen for 20 days on Tuesday for violating a home quarantine order.
In a statement issued, the Public Prosecution said the Court of First Instance in the South Al Batinah Governorate issued a ruling against the Omani citizen for removing the tracking bracelet and not adhering to the home quarantine. “The accused has been sent to 20 days in prison and a fine of OMR 500,” the statement added.
