MUSCAT : Medical equipments and supplies that are to be imported or exported out of Oman must get approval from the Ministry of Health, starting from January 1, 2021
In a statement issued, MOH said the decision has been taken to regulate the market. “Within the scope of regulating the market of medical equipment and supplies in the Sultanate, the Ministry of Health would like to clarify that a prior approval from the Ministry must be obtained for exporting and importing the medical equipment and supplies,” Ministry said.
The service to obtain approval can be made online www. www.moh.gov.om from January 1, 2021, the Ministry said.

“Companies which have not yet included their products during the previous period must perform the inclusion without delay to facilitate the process of product clearance,” the statement noted.
