MUSCAT: Oman will obtain coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines to cover 40 per cent of the country’s population in the first stage, Minister of Health said on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said the first batch of the vaccine will arrive by the end of the year.
“Oman has reserved a good set of vaccines, and the goal is to vaccinate about 40% of the Sultanate’s population,” Al Saidi added.
