Minister of Health: Safeguarding the health of citizens and residents is a priority for His Majesty the Sultan, taking into consideration that it does not affect the economic situations in the country.

Minister of Health: His Majesty the Sultan is fully aware of this pandemic and the noble directives are taken keeping in mind the health and safety of citizens and residents.
Minister of Health: The long term effect of the virus is being studied.
Minister of Health: Countries that relaxed after the decrease in cases started to rise again… Please do not be complacent.
Minister of Health: The Sultanate’s principle is not to use any vaccine even after studying and after being authorized by the country of origin.
Minister of Health: Adherence to the precautionary measures and the night shutdown has had good results, but there are other factors that have led to this.
Minister of Health: I assure that the Sultanate of Oman is follow-up on all developments about the vaccine, and we hope to get the vaccine before the end of this year.
Minister of Health: Basic service providers on the front lines, border crossing employees, people with chronic diseases and the elderly have priority in getting vaccinated.
Minister of Health: Adherence to all preventive measures is currently the only savior to avoid contracting the virus.
Minister of Health: The Sultanate has reserved a good set of vaccines, and the goal is to vaccinate about 40% of the Sultanate’s population.
Dr. Saif Al Abri: The results of the third stage of the national survey indicated that the rate of community infection with the Coronavirus reached 15%.
