MUSCAT : The agreement will enable passengers to travel to Helsinki via London Heathrow, where Oman Air operates 11 weekly flights from its hubs in Muscat and London.
The partnership also covers Finnair flights from Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan and Rome to its Helsinki hub, giving travellers from Oman greater access to Finland and destinations across Finnair’s network.
Connectivity to Australia will also be expanded, with the agreement opening up connections to Melbourne via Bangkok, where Oman Air operates two daily flights.
Rohan Patel, Head of Partnerships and Alliances at Oman Air, described the agreement as a strategic step towards maximising the benefits of the airline’s membership in the oneworld alliance.
He said the partnership would broaden travel options for Oman Air passengers, providing easier access to Helsinki and onward connections across Finnair’s wider network.
