MUSCAT : The municipality said the notice forms part of efforts to regulate the urban landscape and address the use of the industrial area for unlicensed activities.
Owners of illegal animal pens in the area have been instructed to vacate the sites, remove all related structures and clear the area of animals and other unauthorised encroachments.
The 14-day grace period takes effect from the date of the municipality’s notice. Owners who do not comply within the specified period will be subject to the prescribed legal measures, the municipality said.
