MUSCAT: An Indian healthcare professional was found dead at his residence in Wadi Kabir in Muscat, days after returning to Oman following a vacation in India.
The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Shivakumar Mohankumar, a native of Nedumangad in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district.
According to the reports, Shivakumar had returned to Muscat from Kerala about a week before his death.

He had worked in Oman’s healthcare sector for several years, including as a pharmacist at Muscat Pharmacy, and was serving as a medical representative at the time of his death.
Shivakumar was also an active member of Oman Malayali Medical Representatives (OMMR) and was well known among healthcare professionals and members of the Malayali community in Muscat.
OMMR expressed condolences over his death, describing him as a person known for his compassionate nature and warm personality.
The organisation said its members and other community representatives were coordinating procedures related to his death.
