MUSCAT : The Consumer Protection Department in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate confiscated the expired goods during an ongoing market inspection campaign aimed at ensuring the safety of products offered to consumers.
According to the Authority, inspectors found 703 expired items at the commercial establishment, comprising detergents, accessories and a range of personal care products.
All the identified products were confiscated to prevent them from being circulated or sold to consumers.

The CPA said the necessary legal measures were taken against the violating establishment in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulations.
