MUSCAT : A group of citizens and expats were arrested in parts of the country for illegal gathering in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
On Friday morning, a group of expats and citizens were arrested from Sohar, while in another incident, a several expats and citizens were held for violating the Supreme Committee decisions in Wilayat Buraimi.
In the wake of Covid-19 pandemic, the Royal Oman Police has intensified patrols across the country.
