MUSCAT : The device will enable healthcare teams to remotely monitor patients’ condition and track changes more accurately, supporting earlier intervention when necessary and helping to improve the quality of care provided to heart failure patients.
The CardioMEMS sensor is designed to provide clinicians with ongoing information about a patient’s condition, allowing them to identify potential changes remotely and respond before the condition deteriorates.
The Royal Hospital said the milestone strengthens Oman’s capabilities in advanced cardiac care and remote patient monitoring, while supporting a more proactive approach to the management of heart failure.
