MUSCAT: An IndiGo flight travelling from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat after a member of the operating crew suffered a medical emergency, ANI reported.

The aircraft landed at Muscat International Airport, where medical teams attended to the crew member immediately. The individual subsequently recovered, according to the report.

IndiGo arranged a replacement aircraft and flight crew to take passengers onward to Bengaluru, seeking to limit disruption caused by the unscheduled diversion.

Passengers were provided with refreshments and regular updates while they waited at Muscat International Airport for the onward flight.

The airline apologised for the inconvenience and said the safety of passengers, crew and aircraft remained its highest priority.
