MUSCAT : Authorities have stopped issuing permits for visitors to stay overnight at Daymaniyat Islands Natural Reserve.
In a statement issued by the Environment Authority (EA), the decision has been taken in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
“We would like to draw your attention that the Environment Authority has stopped the issuance of overnight permits for the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve in compliance with the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 and the decision will remain until a further decision to allow landings at the beaches is taken by the committee,” EA said in a statement
