MHD ACERE reinforced its long-term commitment to Oman’s sustainable energy transition through its sponsorship and participation in the “Muscat Energy Security Conclave 2026” on Future Energy Security, held on 24 August 2026 at Grand Hyatt Muscat.

Organized by Mercuré Events under the theme “Future Energy Security for the Region: Oman’s Role,” the conclave brought together senior representatives from government entities, the energy sector, diplomatic missions, financial institutions and leading businesses to exchange perspectives on energy security, renewable energy, cleaner mobility and future-ready infrastructure.

Highlighting MHD ACERE’s strategic vision, Mr. Mohsin Hani Al Bahrani, Chief Executive Officer, MHD ACERE, emphasized that the successful transition towards sustainable e-mobility requires more than the introduction of new technologies. It also depends on building a reliable and integrated ecosystem that supports their long-term adoption.

Commenting on MHD ACERE’s participation, Mr. Mohsin Al Bahrani also said:

“At MHD ACERE, we recognise that Oman’s transition towards a more sustainable future requires strong collaboration, continuous innovation and investment in the right infrastructure. Our ambition goes beyond introducing advanced e-mobility and renewable energy solutions to the market. We are equally focused on building the ecosystem necessary for these technologies to be adopted successfully and deliver lasting value.

Through our capabilities in renewable energy, engineering and e-mobility, together with our partnerships with global technology leaders such as ABB, we are committed to supporting Oman’s sustainability ambitions. We will continue working closely with government entities, industry partners and other stakeholders to help develop a resilient, future-ready e-mobility and energy landscape for the Sultanate of Oman.”

Mr. Bassam Alshabatat, ABB E-mobility Solution Lead, MENA & North Africa, was also present at the event and shed lights on ABB’s e-mobility solutions and EV charging infrastructure across the GCC.

The conclave provided MHD ACERE with an important platform to engage with senior stakeholders representing prominent organisations, including OQ Exploration & Production, Al Maha Petroleum, ABB E-Mobility, Moore, the French Embassy, the British Embassy, and InnovateQ, among others.

Through its participation, MHD ACERE further strengthened its position within Oman’s renewable energy and sustainable e-mobility sectors while showcasing its capabilities across renewable energy, engineering, procurement and construction, e-mobility and EV charging infrastructure.

MHD ACERE remains committed to working with government and industry stakeholders to support Oman’s transition towards cleaner energy, sustainable e-mobility and future-ready infrastructure, contributing meaningfully to the Sultanate’s long-term sustainability objectives and the vision of His Majesty.
