MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks in Abu Dhabi on Monday, discussing bilateral relations and regional and international developments, the Oman News Agency reported.
The meeting took place at Al Shati Palace during a private visit by His Majesty the Sultan to the United Arab Emirates.
The two leaders reviewed the longstanding ties between Oman and the UAE and discussed the close bonds connecting the two neighbouring countries, according to ONA.

They also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest and reviewed regional and international developments, as well as ways to support security and stability.
The meeting underscores the close relationship between Oman and the UAE, which maintain extensive political, economic and social ties.
