MUSCAT: The NCEM advised people to stay away from any area suspected of being contaminated and to avoid fishing in the affected area.
People should also record the location, time and details of what they observed before reporting the incident to the relevant authorities.
The committee urged the public to immediately report suspected contamination to the competent authorities on 93930088.
