MUSCAT : India comes alive at LuLu Hypermarket as India Utsav 2026 gets underway across Oman, turning the celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day into a vibrant week of food, culture, traditions and community.

More than a retail festival, India Utsav is a celebration of what makes India so wonderfully diverse, from the flavors of its many regions and the energy of its street food to its traditions, art and the stories that connect generations. The festival was inaugurated by H.E. Shri Prashant Pise, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of LuLu Group senior officials, members of the Indian community and local dignitaries.

Speaking at the launch, the Ambassador highlighted the enduring friendship and close people-to-people connections between Oman and India.
