MUSCAT: At the outset of the call, Prime Minister Takaichi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his wishes for His Majesty’s continued health and well-being and for the people of Oman to enjoy continued progress and development.
His Majesty the Sultan, in turn, entrusted the Japanese prime minister with conveying his greetings to His Majesty Emperor Naruhito and his wishes for his continued health and happiness, as well as for the Japanese people to enjoy continued prosperity and growth.
The two sides reviewed the strong relations between Oman and Japan and discussed ways to further develop and strengthen cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
