MUSCAT: In a public awareness message under the campaign ‘Rent Wisely… Travel Safely During Dhofar Khareef’, the authority urged consumers to thoroughly examine both the interior and exterior of the vehicle before leaving the rental agency.
The CPA recommended documenting any existing scratches, dents or other damage by taking clear photographs to avoid potential disputes when returning the vehicle.
Consumers have also been urged to carefully review the rental agreement, ensuring they understand all terms and conditions, including insurance coverage, liability, and any additional charges before signing the contract.
