Muscat: Parts of Oman may experience scattered thunderstorms, strong downdraft winds and possible wadi runoff as cumulus clouds are expected to develop over the Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas.
Weather conditions may also affect parts of the desert areas in Dhofar Governorate, where thunderstorms and active winds are forecast.
Authorities have urged residents and motorists to remain cautious, particularly near wadis and low-lying areas, as sudden rainfall could lead to rapid water flow and reduced visibility.
