MUSCAT – The team recorded 160 reports and notifications as part of its ongoing monitoring campaign, carried out in cooperation with Dhofar Municipality and the Royal Oman Police.
According to the latest statistics released on July 30, the initiative also recorded 29 cases involving slipped vehicles, closed 197 locations, and received 92 reports related to overflowing garbage bins.
The Environmental Guardians initiative aims to preserve Dhofar’s natural landscapes during the busy Khareef season by monitoring environmentally sensitive areas, improving compliance with regulations, and promoting responsible visitor practices.
